My Little Birds Have Been Adopted 我的金孫鳥被領養

I miss you, my little birdies! This is the final shot before their adoption by a local couple on this June 1st.
我的金孫鳥,小台與小德二世,本月被領養.雖然才過半個月,但我已經開始很想念牠們.這是小加和小美的下一代,也是自我罹癌後首度親自撫養出生的金孫鳥.雖然內心捨不得,但新的主人是一對有愛心的夫婦,想必能給他們更美好的照顧.
我的精力和時間都有限,因此未來若有合適的領養者,小加和小美也考慮讓人收養.如此我才可能有餘力開始寫我的感恩見證集及回憶錄.

這相片是小英剛來到我家第一個月拍的.

One of my students wrote a me note to comfort me about the Promised Land. He agreed with me the name of the new church in Luliau, and he reminded me there is no more sorrow. For the LORD will wept our tears in the New Heaven and Earth. "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." (Rev.21:4)
前不久我的學生在臉書上安慰我,他說他很高興在鹿寮的新教會叫作新天新地教會.他相信神必會成就祂的應許在我身上:神要擦去他們一切的眼淚．不再有死亡、也不再有悲哀、哭號、疼痛、因為以前的事都過去了。(啟示錄21:4)

Commemorate My Love Bird 紀念我的愛情鳥

I post these photos for commemorating my love bird, Little In (UK), he just passed away this Sunday morning. 

I took this photo for him on October 31st, one week before his sleeping in the LORD.

 
I took this photo for Little In (UK) and Little May (US), when I just met them within one month. They sang and played together happily in my bed room last December.

This summer when I just moved to my hometown-Luliau in Taichung, I took this photo for this adorable couple. They love and enjoy the time together with each other so much. They often kissed and made love.

God grants me two grand love birds, Little Ma and Little Ry, during I receiving my alternative treatment.(Actually four, but two died during that period.) On the right side of the photo, we can see Little In and Little May was communicating and caring with their new generation. How lovely this love bird's family is!

十一月六日一早當我要為鳥兒們換水加食物時,突然發現貌似小英的鳥陳屍鳥籠,使我的心悲傷不已!
今天原定是教會感恩節特別愛筵聚餐,昨晚我還畢生首度嘗試煮一道正式的菜~麻油薑片烏骨雞湯,為此忙碌到很晚.
再不到一小時就要與從大里來的新朋友姊妹見面,講道與主持聖餐及感恩聚會等服事,這突來的惡訊重擊我心.
只能強忍內心悲慟服事我主,畢竟毫無心理預備,只因我太忙,以致牠一命嗚呼,我來不及救治,哀哉!我心充滿自責!

我不禁問主,為何讓這樣的事如此發生? 主日我忙了一天,晚上又為因電費不明原因爆增煩惱哭泣失眠的信徒奔波服事後,接著才處理我的愛鳥.鳥電老闆娘判定是母鳥難產而亡!果真如此,這就是那忠心盡責的小美!請原諒你這過忙無能又無用的主人吧!


十二月一日終於將活著的小鳥帶去鑑定,確定去世的是小英---我最心愛的小鳥.而這些天小美仍是如此充滿母愛,不但強忍喪偶痛又盡心竭力的顧兒,辛苦你了.小英,如今你可以歇了地上的勞苦,到天堂在主的國度中享受歡樂!謝謝帶給我的美好時刻,我會全心照顧小美,小馬和小力的,你放心地走吧~
小英已入葬在鹿寮新天新地教會的後院,可說是第一位殉道鳥(因主人忙於服事而犧牲),安息吧!

The Recent Photos Of My Pet 我寵物的近照

這是小英和小美難得的近照,兩鳥非常專注地看著鏡頭,不知主人正在做什麼?我僅量在不干擾牠們的前提下請愛情鳥入鏡,所以拍照的時間只有短短幾秒.欣賞寵物的珍貴畫面叫身為主人的我得到不小的滿足與安慰,顯然害羞怕生膽小的小美慢慢了解並接納這位主人的善意.正如網友所見,小英和小美最近成雙成隊非常相愛,隨時可見牠們在鳥籠各處深情長吻.到目前我仍忍耐未打開鳥屋一看究竟,我打算再過兩週七月底時為牠們徹底清潔鳥屋順便了解裡面的變化.希望屆時小鳥新生代已經誕生,剛好可當作我租屋週年慶的賀禮和紀念.

The Hairs God Numbered 上帝數過和編號的頭髮

福音書中耶穌說,[天父若不許麻雀一個也不能掉在地上],以及[你們的頭髮也都被數過了].耶穌拿天父對麻雀的看顧來強調人的價值更甚於此.自愛情鳥再度住入鳥籠中的這三個月,我對這些經文的了解和體會更深.

不可思議的遨翔年,我不但建立部落格,使用臉書,研究網路線上遊戲,同時還開始瘋狂地收集每一根愛情寵物鳥所掉落的羽毛.這三個月我成了道地的愛惜羽毛的人.每當看見牠們的大大小小各種顏色不同部位的羽毛掉落,其實我真的很心疼.因自己的親身體驗,所以我相信上帝也是這樣珍惜我們所掉落的每根毛髮.即使年老髮白甚至日漸禿頭,上帝的愛是有增無減的.

鳥的羽毛兼俱人的頭髮,各部位毛髮與衣服的多重功能.鳥全身所覆蓋的羽毛分佈在不同的部位,其實就有其不同的名稱,結構和功能.這篇網誌我引用了Peterson鳥專家對鳥結構的介紹,以及如此藉此辨識各種不同的鳥,希望藉此網友能更認識上帝偉大美麗精緻而智慧的創造.

兩個麻雀不是賣一分銀子嗎？若是你們的父不許，一個也不能掉在地上；就是你們的頭髮也都被數過了。所以，不要懼怕，你們比許多麻雀還貴重！(太10:29-31)

If you know the detailed knowledge of the anatomy and morphology of birds to be a competent birder, it is great for you. Yet it is more important to be thoroughly familiar with the parts of a bird’s visible plumage, or its feathers. The feathers of birds is like the hair and clothing of human beings.

I post a picture and the video from Peterson Field Guides, the main purpose is to enhance your understanding about God's awesome, beautiful, wise and great creation. By them you will know that the major groups of feathers are the remiges (flight feathers of the wing), rectrices (tail feathers), coverts (feathers that cover the bases of the remiges and rectrices, both above and below), upperparts (mantle, scapulars, and upper surface of the folded wing), and under parts (throat, breast, belly, flanks, vent, and undertail coverts). It is also necessary to know the terms for the markings of the head and for the parts of the bill (beak).

Birders often use less formal terms to identify features of a bird: cheek, forehead, chin, wrist, arm, hand, frontlet, cap, bib, eye patch, cowl, and others. Consult the Glossary for definitions of these terms.

Love Your Feathers 愛惜羽毛

These feathers belong to my love birds, Little In and May. How beaughtiful and colorful God creats for them. One day morning I found they laid down the floor of my apartment.They caught my attention immediately, so I picked them up directly without any anatomy.

The Chinese said 'love your feathers', which mean a person highly cherish their integrity, fame, reputation and so on. Sometimes some people love their feathers even more important than life. Are you that person?

揮別不捨爵士公貓上天堂的哀傷,現在全心照顧我的寵物愛情鳥.雖然喜歡賞鳥,但我卻從未曾想要養鳥.偶而想到自己養了寵物鳥這件事,5 和我相依為命感情可說是好得很.您瞧,不但為牠們建立專屬的部落格,甚至為牠們製作了寫真月曆.接下來為牠們會有什麼不可思議的創舉,實在很有想像空間.

為了不驚擾小英和小美,這三個月我停止為牠們拍照和攝影.如果您想進一步觀賞並聆聽愛情鳥的聲音,以下的影片是不錯的選擇和參考.

The End of Crazy Life 結束瘋狂的日子

詩仙李白(Li Bai, Chinese poet)亦為雀痴(Bird Lover),曾以詩易雙鷴，詩曰：
清以雙白璧，買君雙白鷴。白鷴白如錦，白雲聇容顏。照影玉潭裡，刷毛琪樹間。夜棲寒月靜，朝步落花閑。我願得此鳥，玩之坐碧山。胡公能輟贈，籠寄野人還。

如果是你會如何選擇呢?讓寵物鳥自由自在無拘無束怎樣都可以,開心的相愛與飛翔即可,還是以管理與訓練為重?最近我考慮將愛情鳥野放回森林中,但當務之急是協助牠們照顧七個鳥蛋...


本週我作了一個困難的決定和行動.週三晚上愛情鳥自由又瘋狂的日子結束了!我將'小英'和'小美' 再次放回原來的鳥籠中,希望他們善盡為鳥父母之擇好好將七個鳥蛋孵化出下一代.這麼做我心裡很難受,但我實在無法忍受牠們過度享樂而未盡鳥父母的本份!其次,他們到處下蛋也使得好好孵化下一代的任務增加很多的困難.第三個原因是發現愛情鳥開始掉毛,而且較先前掉得更多,讓我很心疼.


週四可說是最難過的一天!兩隻愛情鳥整天不太說話和唱歌,可能是失去飛翔的空間與自由很不開心.我一天好幾次窺視牠們,'小英'和'小美'只是默默相依一起卻不見牠們有絲毫要孵蛋的舉動和意願.看來我得去好好作功課並且請教專家以解決照顧與管教愛情鳥所遇到的瓶頸和困難.


多年前我心裡想,那些會為小鳥花錢的人簡直是太瘋狂了,不是嗎?當時我和Lysa TerKeurst一樣,看重自己想達成的目標和睡眠勝於關心小鳥的死活.唸博士班到北加州作研究寫論文時,因室友的貓生病了我有機會到美國的獸醫院.當時剛好看見一隻鳥被送來獸醫院就醫中,頸項上戴了一個和貓狗用一樣的防護頭套.當下我立即問了一個問題:天底下怎麼會有這種事呢?!


沒想到沒幾年以後,我自己也成了同樣的人.在毫無預備,也難以拒絕的情況下,擔任起小鳥的主人.而現在更為了愛情鳥的事,心情憂悶,不開心,搖擺掙扎並自責.簡直是太不可議!太超過!太瘋狂! 所以我現在常對人說:天下沒有不可能的事!不可能就是可能去掉不字!在神凡事都能,凡事也都可能!

Love Birds Chose the Bathroom and Kitchen 愛情鳥選擇住在浴室和廚房

Last December In and May became my pet and I set them free before Christmas. That mean they can fly everywhere they like. They flied everywhere in my apartment, finally they chose the bathroom and the kitchen as their space to stay and live. They even have their eggs there. Recently they caused the water heater damage, therefore I discipline them and limit them to stay in the bathroom only.

The Morning Call 主人,請起床!

今天我真不敢相信我的耳朵!我的In and May來叫我起床!真是太不可思議了,很特別又也些瘋狂.這就是我所感受到上帝對我的愛. 請用喜樂的心情聆聽牠們的起床號!在一片黑暗中,愛情鳥愉悅的鳴囀聲中,我收到請起床的歌聲與呼喚.你相信嗎?


這就是我可愛的寵物鳥-去年我是不可能這樣稱呼牠們的,我不想以牠們來取代或轉移我對寵物爵士公貓的愛. Jazz是從上帝給我無可取代的禮物,因此也拒絕接受In and May 牠們的善意.可憐的鳥類朋友很無辜吧!牠們一定感到莫名其妙! 如今我已經調整我的角色和心態,要好好扮演牠們主人的角色. 瞧!現在我是這兩隻小鳥的主人及媽咪呢!


I could not believe my ears today! This morning my birds wake me up at 5:00 a.m.! I remembered the first week they came to my apartment, they did not get up until 10:00. Even my friend was astonished why the birds can sleep so late everyday at that time.!

Look! They are so lovely and exciting. They are curious to everything in my apartment. The birds also show their curiousness to me, sing songs for me, even they give me the morning call whenever I need it.


It is so special and crazy! Surely, that is what I feel about God’s love for me! So Amazing and beyond my reason. Now I realize that if Jesus can send my pet Jazz to take care of me, it is possible for him to send the birds to be with me, too.

The Little Birds Told Me* 小鳥輕輕告訴我

God had His provision by my friend giving me two birds, when I was still in my grief of the separation with my pet Jazz. Slowly I accept the gift. The little birds are a very young couple. I name the young and handsome masculine bird 'In’. The feminine bird I call her ‘May’. It was as a memory of my mother.


The birds I have are so called ‘Love Birds’. One day I discovered that In was not afraid of me and he was curious about me. You can see the picture that he gazed to me. The encounter was very special experience in my life.
I set them free from birdcage after they came to me two weeks. I thought that was their need. To fly freely! I used to be self-centered and human-centered as a master of my pet. But thing has to be changed. Now the young couple birds gain more space and freedom than before.

You can state that they love each other very much, they live together with me healthily and joyfully.







當我正在為遠離的爵士公貓感傷不已時,上帝已透過我的朋友送我兩隻鳥.上帝早已預備,但我慢慢才開始接受這樣的禮物和安排. 這兩隻鳥,一公一母恩愛的年輕夫妻.這是一對愛情鳥,弟兄叫英剛強而姊妹叫美撫媚.牠們很活潑又健康.英剛強對我很好奇,從一開始就會用牠的眼睛凝視我.這是人生很少有的經驗和特別的感覺.

小鳥的基本需求是什麼呢? 應該就是自由的飛翔吧!所以我決定善盡主人的角色和職份,讓牠們享有更大的空間能健康又喜樂的活著. 這是個困難的決定,讓牠們從鳥籠飛出來!從相片中不難看出牠們的相互依附形影不離.原來這兩隻小鳥是特別來照顧和陪伴我的,這是我的新發現.
